API keys

The public API is free and keyless — see the docs — with a per-IP rate cap (and AI-agent traffic is never capped). A key lifts that cap for your app: send it as Authorization: Bearer … or x-api-key.

We store only a hash of each key — the raw value is shown once at creation and can't be retrieved again. Lost a key? Revoke it and create a new one. Per-key usage (last 30 days), signed webhooks, and saved queries are all above.
