Alien registration status
In short
This refers to the legal immigration status of non-U.S. citizens applying for an SBA loan. The SBA requires proof of "Qualified Alien" status to be eligible.
What it means in a deal
If you are not a U.S. citizen, you must prove you are a Qualified Alien, typically by providing your Form I-551 (Green Card) or other USCIS documentation. Lenders will verify this during the application process, as it's a strict SBA eligibility requirement.
