Blended Maturity

In short

This refers to a single loan term applied to an SBA loan that finances multiple types of assets with different useful lives. It simplifies repayment by consolidating various asset terms into one.

What it means in a deal

When an SBA loan finances a mix of assets like equipment (shorter useful life) and real estate (longer useful life), the lender often calculates a Blended Maturity. This creates a single, unified loan term for the entire project, simplifying your monthly payments, rather than having separate loans for each asset class.
