Franchise Review Portal
In short
An online platform used by the SBA Franchise Team and lenders to manage the review process for franchise agreements, including submitting new agreements or checking existing approvals.
What it means in a deal
Your lender uses the Franchise Review Portal to confirm if a specific franchise system is on the SBA's approved Franchise Directory. If it's not listed, or if the agreement has changed, the lender will submit it through this portal for the SBA Franchise Team's review before your loan can proceed.
