Inheritance
In short
Assets or money received from a deceased person. An inheritance can be a source of capital for your equity injection in an SBA 7(a) loan, but must be properly documented.
What it means in a deal
If you're using inherited funds for your equity injection, the lender will require documentation proving its source and that the funds are "seasoned" or clearly available. This usually means bank statements showing the funds in your account for at least two months. Ensure you have clear paperwork.
