Lender Packaging Fees

In short

Fees charged by some lenders for preparing and submitting your SBA loan application. These are regulated by the SBA and can add to your total project costs.

What it means in a deal

Some lenders charge a packaging fee for their work assembling your loan application. This is an eligible expense for an SBA loan, but the amount is capped by SBA rules. Always ask your lender about all fees upfront so you can budget for total project costs and compare offers.
