Permanent Resident Card(Green card, Form I-551)
In short
This is a document issued by the U.S. government to Qualified Aliens authorizing them to live and work permanently in the United States. SBA loan applicants who are not U.S. citizens must hold a Permanent Resident Card.
What it means in a deal
If you are not a U.S. citizen, you must provide your Permanent Resident Card as proof of legal residency when applying for an SBA loan. This ensures you are a Qualified Alien and meet the eligibility requirements for SBA financing.
