Remitting

In short

The act of sending money, often referring to the borrower sending payments to the lender. For 7(a) loans, it's how you make your monthly principal and interest payments.

What it means in a deal

After your SBA 7(a) loan closes, you will be remitting monthly payments of principal and interest to your lender. Timely remitting is critical to avoid default and protect your business and personal assets.
