Marketable asset
In short
This is an asset that can be easily converted to cash at its fair market value. Examples include publicly traded stocks or bonds.
What it means in a deal
The SBA considers liquid Marketable assets when assessing your personal liquidity for the Credit elsewhere test. If you have significant Marketable assets, the SBA might require you to use them for a larger equity injection or apply for a smaller loan.
